Payment and financial issues

  • Dentists are allowed to charge their desired fee but for our patients’ convenience, we strictly follow the current year’s Ontario Dental Association’s Suggested Fee Guide which is the most widely accepted fee guide by insurance companies.
  • We accept cash, cheques, debit, Visa and Master Card
  • We deal with most insurance companies and will be happy to help you file your claims.
  • As a courtesy to our patients, we will be able to bill the insurance companies directly and patients will only need to pay the copayments. This needs to be requested in advance by patients.(There could be few exceptional situations which need to be assessed individually.)
    Please bring your insurance card or insurance coverage information to every appointment
    If there are any changes to your insurance, please notify us immediately
  • We may be able to make payment arrangements for patients who have received treatment in our clinic for over a year
    These arrangements should be discussed in person

Office Policies

  • New patients are welcome!
  • If you have a dental emergency, please contact us and we will try to schedule an appointment for you as soon as possible
  • To cancel or reschedule an appointment please notify us at least two business days prior to your scheduled appointment. Failure to notify us in advance will result in a cancellation fee of $30, which will be donated to Owen Sound Regional Hospital foundation.
